Queen's Hotel

Great. Got there for lunch as the kitchen was closing, the chef stayed and cooked for 6 of us. Food was fresh, tasty, and exceptionally well priced! We had 6 meals and some drinks for about 45 quid! I'll definately be going back. For lunch its cheaper than a McDonald's or a subway!

As others have said this is a proper pub, so not for everyone.
But I loved the beer and the atmosphere.
Disappointed not to find an ashtray near the door, realised later there was one near the other door.
Staff could have been a bit more engaging.

Lovely meal, home made, generous and tasty. Staff, friendly and helpful. Extremely reasonable in price too. We'll be back.

Classic old pub. Certainly popular with the local older crowd. Decent beer selection.

Great traditional pub. Very reasonable prices and a lot of local trade
Can get busy on weekends with youngsters using pre wine street.

Beautiful pub inside and out. Friendly staff and clientele. Very good value drinks.

Had Christmas menu on December 16 ,was a large party and the place was too small we were sitting on opposite sides of the pub and I wasn't even sitting next to the friend who i went with! They also didn't have the starters or dessert that I had ordered!
The main meal of Turkey was very good
I think they should 't be taken bookings of that amount of people.
