Lovely location. Narrow road with characteristic slate walls. We had our meal in the garden next to the children's fenced off play area. Ate under a tree as the sun was very strong. The inside of the pub has character and the staff were very friendly.

Absolutely loved the drive to and from this place, and once we got there we were not disappointed! What a fantastic beer garden. Shutting dining a cold one with the sheep grazing in the background. Nice little kids playground there too. Staff very nice and friendly.

Cosy country pub inside with open fires for a cold night after a long walk, didn't try the food but it smelt & looked wonderful. The views from the huge beer garden are amazing!! Definitely worth a visit just to see that!! Good selection of beers too!!!

We stayed overnight in the campervan it was very peaceful and got some great views. Toilets could have been a little bit better, the seat was broken and no lights in there, but it was useable with an head torch and the price was more than reasonable.

Never got to use the facilities of the pub so cannot comment on that.

We would definitely go again.

Really nice food and lovely staff, contrary to it saying online that it's closed Mondays we were please to find that it is currently open Mondays during the summer. Well worth a stop off would recommend the signature burger!

Nice enough pub for a drink,BUT, as for food, a bit hit or miss. Might be because it was out of holiday season but went on a Wednesday, no food ,then went for a Sunday roast as advertised , no Sunday roast. 2rd October. Had a curry instead. Not what I wanted but tasted OK.

Terrible experience. Firstly, we ordered four bowls of chips, which came with a dish full of out of date sauces by one year. Next, our dog had bit one of our family members so we asked for some vodka to put on the cut. BUT, the manager, chef, hillbilly person wouldn’t let us have a tiny bit of vodka if we didn’t pay for it first and then also saying that the sauces isn’t his problem and he doesn’t care. Finally, as we were leaving he was outside making a mess complaining about family members number plates and arguing with family members too.
DO NOT RECOMMEND AND NOT GOING AGAIN !!

5 of us arrived after a day climbing for a drink and a meal. We could not have been made more welcome or had lovelier service. Would definitely go back, big shout out to Chloe who was fab!
