Stopped in at the kings arms last for a cheeky pint..cracking pub, with its original interior. Not one of those Lee's pubs, where they rip out all the original old fixtures, to then put fake original fixtures back in. It was a bit late so we didn't try the food, but bellend chef Gordon Ramsays Scampi, chunky chips and mushy peas is still available for £10.95 The kings arms is where nob Ramsay invented the chunky chip, probably his best dish to date.

If you enjoy a proper boozer read on; if you prefer a santised wine bar move along, there is nothing for you here.

We had a cracking 2 nights last Saturday and Sunday at the Kings Arms. Both were Karaoke nights and the overall standard of singing was really good.

We found the Kings Arms to be a very special place. Everyone we came across there from staff to other customers were very friendly and up for a chat.

There are not many genuine places like this left, so thank you to Lois and your team for keeping the flame burning, particularly during the very difficult last couple of years.

We look forward to spending a good night with you here again when we next visit Llandudno

2 real ales on, beer was OK, but potentially the first one out of the pump, (nothing wrong with the beer just a bit warmer than expected) Guinness was good

Staff were talking when we called in for a quick drink . My teenage son went to the toilet while we ordered drinks. He went to sit down after we had ordered the drinks and we're about to pay for them . The staff member turned around and said no kids are allowed in after 7pm. So she poured out our drinks and we left . There are no signs anywhere in the pub explaining this. We were there less than 18 months ago and the pub had young children there until 9pm.

Well called in for a drink 21/1/23 only a few people in there! It was like a ghost town (Last time was about 18 months ago and then it was full with a great atmosphere). Approached the bar where a male and female member of staff were too busy talking so had to wait, so my son went to the toilet. My wife and I ordered some drinks when they'd finished talking and decided to work. They poured 2 pints and opened a j20 for my son. On my son's return from the toilet the female staff member announced that children weren't allowed after 7pm (it was 7:05pm). Had the staff been paying any attention at all when we came in they would have seen my son and saved the embarrassment caused. We certainly won't be returning ever again. I can only imagine this is one of the reasons why it was empty.

Nice little local pub with quite good selection of ales. Pricing is decent.

A great pub with a cozy atmosphere. Lois was a great host! If you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet her cat, Tyson, and dog, Bruno! We had a great time!
