Really lovely Sunday roast here!
Good quality meat, really tasty sides and excellent staff!
Beautiful location with nice atmosphere!! Parking available in front of the restaurant, and terrace to be used in sunny days. Definitely Good value for money!

Nice pub and clean. Food was fine but limited menu choices and a little on the pricey side. Apart from one barmaid, the other waiters came across as uninterested and looked glum.

Superb Sunday roast today. Absolutely delicious. These guys have got it totally right. The best roast lunch I’ve had in a good while. We will be back. But more gravy next time please?

Never had a bad meal and we there at-least once a week. Steak night is amazing and our dog loves the place also. Thanks

What a fabulous place . Had Sunday lunch - quite simply the best we have ever had . Then went back for their Steak night . Food is just excellent, team are friendly and nothing is too much trouble - and the Chef is superb !!

Very good food but terrible service!
We booked for October 5th at 7 pm and arrived 15 minutes early and we're promptly seated after ordering drinks. Our table was cramped in the bar area next to other seated guests which meant we had to push our table out to sit!
The front of house server heard our non local accents and proceeded to speak to her bar colleague in Welsh; after answering her in my second language this rudeness abruptly stopped!
The aforementioned server asked to take our food order ( 15 mins before our table booking) to which, we asked for a little drink time, only for her uninformed colleague to repeat the request immediately having returned from another table ( obviously uninformed).
Shortly after our booked time the original server came to our table and said "I feel like I need to ask permission to take your order, you can of course just put your hand up if you want serving", I replied that I would not be so rude to a front of house member.
We order wine which was plonkled on the table without word or even opening the bottle in a very ignorant manner . Our food was perfect by the way so no fault to the back of house ( I personally thanked them)
Look, I know bad reviews can be damaging but if a member of my staff gave such a bad image I would sack them !

Enjoyed a tasty Sunday lunch here recently - quality ingredients and good portions, served by friendly staff in a pleasant environment. Definitely intending to return when next in the area.
