Really fantastic pub, great beer, great food and fantastic hospitality. Dogs are welcome in the bar, so you can enjoy your delicious meal with your furry friend.

Fabulous afternoon watching the rugby. James and Lucy are great hosts and the complimentary bar food was delish. Thank you.

Decent pub for a quiet pint. There wasn't much atmosphere in there but I was just meeting a friend for a pint so that didn't matter too much. The beer was good and as there were only a few people in there we didn't really have to wait to get served. Felt quite small inside but they do have a large outside which looked good for kids (had a play area) so would go back with the family in the summer.

Called last night for the first time. Friendly welcome, both locals and Landlord, excellent local ales. Sampled the ales before purchasing. We will definately be back.

A real shame as I really wanted to like it! The food was good especially the homemade hand-cut chips along with the venison casserole, fish cakes and pate and the staff were nice. The place is in need of a bit of a clean up, it was dusty and dirty in places and hasn't seen a lick of paint in many years and although I'm a dog lover I really don't expect dogs to be running in and out whilst I'm eating.

Went for Sunday lunch and pleasantly surprised. Friendly efficient staff and chatty locals. Food was very good quality and fresh with decent portions for good value prices. Thoroughly recommend and will go back.

Ignored by owner when first arrived had to wait for barmaid to return from outside whilst owner carried on conversation with local then managed to serve him to save him waiting whilst I was eventually served.
Bar covered in kids toys couldn't work out if it was a pub or a cresh.
