What a gem of a place.
we have just been for a meal with my brother and sister in law who came to visit us for the weekend from Rotherham South Yorkshire.
We booked a table after reading the reviews. Well they were not
wrong. The food was absolutely delicious all freshly cooked to perfection. The lamb shank with mash potato was so well cooked it just fell off the bone. The puddings all home made were just so gorgeous.
The staff make you feel so welcome its such a lovely atmosphere the background music was very pleasant and unobtrusive.
Make sure you are hungry before you go
We will definitely be going back very soon.

This establishment is definitely old school in every sense of the word.
Travel back in time to the 70's. Quirky decor, Toby jugs a plenty and more autographed photos than you can shake a stick at.
The 80+ proprietor pulls no punches, we popped in for a drink and were presented with place mats and a condiment set.
The plaice was nice.

Chill out! Don't take life too seriously, Spent an hour or two in the company of nice down to earth people.

Staff couldn't be anymore helpful, very generous portions, cooked beautifully and an excellent service, could not rate it enough! When our taxi arrived a little earlier than expected, the staff went out to offer the taxi driver hot drinks and snacks which was a lovely gesture given it was freezing outside. They also gave us a bottle of wine to take home as a thank you!! Will definitely return, a traditional style pub with a beautiful open coal fire, thank you for a lovely evening, look forward to returning in the very near future. Cook party xx

Absolutely love this place the owner is a lovely old man with a life time of stories and the pub itself is steeped in history. The food is fantastic and value for money and the views from the windows are to die for. If you're lucky you'll also see the pictures on the wall move and fall on the floor with no interference from human hand!!!! Not saying its haunted but its strange how it happens.

Much better than expected.
The place looks a little run down, but to be fair they've only just reopened after a long lockdown. The staff were super friendly and approachable. The food was freshly made and great value. Simple pub grub but what's wrong with that?
Keep the menus small and the food homemade!
They allow customers in campervans to stay overnight, which is lovely and modern.
The décor inside and out need a spruce up , but give them a chance.🙂

We stopped here in our campervan for dinner and an overnight stay. The staff were super welcoming and we had a lovely and very reasonably priced home-cooked meal. The pub itself was like stepping back in time and filled with lots of very interesting sports memorabilia. Thank you for your kind welcome.

Had a very good family evening at the Racehorse Inn last night.
This pub is on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, with impressive views over the nearby valley.
My meal included a Cow Pie, which was one of the best pies I've had for taste, size and filling - if you're a pie lover, you must taste this!
The Tikka curry and lamb shank offerings were exceptional.
The racehorse has a homely atmosphere, with good service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Don't bother it's been shut for a long time.

Hi I would like to apologise for the above remark, and I am very sorry for your loss, we had a very stressful day and arrived at your britstop at 5 pm waiting patiently for 6.30
when the note on the door said you would be opening, some lights were on we were not the only ones that pulled into the car park, again I am very sorry about your loss but you need to update your website. Jayne
