The Castle Inn

Fantastic meal and very good value. Looks beautiful and very tasty! Very much a oldy worldy pub, decor could do with updating but couldn't fault the food. So much so we returned for Sunday lunch. Great size portions with a lovely variety of vegetables.

We stayed the night with our dog and had a lovely welcome at the castle inn, extra fuss was made of mossy. The room was spacious and clean with a very comfy bed and pillows.

We eat a vegan diet and the milk and breakfast goods in our room were all plant based.

When we are in the area again then we wont think twice about staying here. Diolch yn Fawr

Sunday lunch was absolutely superb today! Fabulous roast beef sirloin cooked to perfection, served piping hot with loads of fresh vegetables and gravy. Staff were so welcoming and attentive. Very highly recommended. Thank you Charlotte and the Castle crew!

Lovely traditional style pub, nice selection of beers, really nice selection of good, good prices, nice stuff, friendly staff & customers, very welcoming. Definitely worth visiting

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here, the young girls who was serving us was really friendly and ensured the door to the outside sitting area was closed behind her (it was cold when it was open). Booking via Facebook was super easy. The food was lovely and the meat we had was well cooked. The brie starter and the Apple crumble were both delicious. We'll definitely be back, but maybe not sit by the back door next time. Definitely recommended

Nice pub offering decent menu. Has an outdoor area which is half covered with a log burner. The staff are friendly and chatty. It is a big pub with many rooms. The food is well presented and not too expensive. The decor in the restaurant is a mix of a Mexican hacienda and an 80s bistro, not sure if that is the intended look.

Absolutely brilliant. The staff were great and on hand throughout and the food was delightful. I struggle to find a lasagne that is genuinely homemade and delicious and this was certainly that!
