Bertie

This place was recommended to me for traditional Sunday lunch. I have not been to many pubs in Wales, but the food was really good. Sure, the building or the furniture are a little run down, but for me, it was a nice part of the good experience I had. And the staff was really nice.

Fantastic experience staying at the Bertie, Ceri was very helpful and understanding, food is really nice and very reasonably priced in comparison to other places.
Rooms overlooking the River taff and looking out to the welsh mountains.
We stayed for 2 nights, lovely clean rooms,
Great real feel 'Local' atmosphere in the pub too.
100% will be staying again,

Fantastic company and comfortable surroundings. Service was great and staff were helpful and friendly. Great views of some historic structures near to the pub

Bertie,s is ok . Pub is lively and a bit loud at times .Staff are friendly and helpful. Accommodation is basic but clean and tidy, bed is comfey linnin clean and fresh. Had a meal in the restaurant food was good and competitive price. Would go back. The pub car park backs on to the river Rhondda,Good view from the bridge

Ohhh gosh where do I begin, waited an HR for food, 2 spoon full of rice which was raw, chicken was cold, and sauce was ok, was so so hungry, so I did eat chicken and sauce , did say to one staff only, but as we eaten some , we could waited for manager, but we been there from 2pm till 4pm already waiting for food,was a kids share only, could cooked it better myself, so we all shared my wife's fish and chips no peas or garnish, and was all ill, when come home and the next day, never again , what waste £31

We stayed there this Saturday staff work very hard food excellent room very clean staff did not know that Lord and lady ARNOLD stayed there
So it was all good. I would recommend it

I had a great evening here stayed overnight, nice comfy beds, clean rooms and the food was great and well priced. I went to the bar in the evening the staff were amazing and friendly. Will definitely be coming back 😊 thank you Bertie pub 🍻

Very tasty light bite , quiet , comfortable and relaxed environment. Large TV screens (low volume with sub titles ).
