Friendly basic pub, selling nice real ales. Close to the railway station and just off the town centre in a quiet location. Worth a visit.

This tavern is one of the most brilliant places you can relax and have a few beers in. Friendly bar staff and of course TAFF the best landlord in town. We have had so many good times there

A very straightforward single room pub, with lovely beer and excellent service. Do not expect bells and whistles. This is a pub nothing more nothing less.

Beautiful pub with good beer and a welcoming atmosphere. As soon as we went in we were welcomed by literally everyone in the place. Had a few drinks and a few laughs, the jukebox was putting out great music. Left feeling quite chuffed to have gone, before heading out for tea.
