First of all, the car park was tiny, unlevel and had one of the locals doing a wee right next to where we had just parked! - We could smell nothing but weed the second we reached the entrance. Within 30 seconds of entering this bleak hell-hole, I was greeted by a set of rude and angry people who were wishing me luck on my night's stay and approaching us like they want a fight. They were taking the Mick out of us and laughing at the fact that we were staying there. We were then taken round the back of the building to a room that had 'ladies toilets' written on, but was actually the stair going up to the rooms. All of which were absolutely disgusting. Smelly, dirty, dusty and covered in blood in places. This was a night from hell and would would never set foot anywhere near this place again. An absolute disgrace, and does not deserve to be an operating business. NEVER STAY HERE! Even if it's the cheapest place around. There's a reason for it (well, about 100 in fact).

2nd time I visited and it has gone completely down hill in the last 3 months.
Booked to stay here for 3 nights and upon arrival I was greeted with the worst odur imaginable. The main entrance just smelt like stale cigarettes and human waste. Clearly staff are smoking in their office as it was very strong.
I was met by a lady (think her name was sue) who clearly had a rough week as she didn't stop moaning about it. I asked her to show me to my room (She huffed and puffed)and said it wasn't ready as she hasn't had time to clean the rooms, even after me calling 24hrs before and 3 hours before, giving her the heads up I was coming. Bare in mind the hotel/pub doesn't even open until 2pm, She had all morning to prepare!
Once I did gain access to the room I was shocked at the smell also in the rooms. I complained their and then but her reply was that the rooms had been deep cleaned. I found underwear in one of the beds aswell as a used condom down behind one of the pillows. The walls are horrendously stained and the comunial showers were bogging!
Safe to say I didn't stay 2 hours let alone 3 nights.
The attitude from the manager (sue) was completely unnaceptable aswell. She clearly didn't like why I was leaving and she refused to give me a refund in full. Health and safety at this hotel is worringly not at the top of their list. It is a Shame really because the locals of the pub and other staff were amazing and they were telling me it has not long been taken on by somebody else.
New cleaners. New management and a lick of paint may do the job but I will not be returning. So much better when i visited end of june.

Wow what a place and not in a good way... I stayed here this weekend and what an awful mistake... DON'T STAY Here. There was blood up the walls, the shower was falling off the ceiling, full of hillbillies honestly though I'd stepped into the hills have eyes! I feel lucky to be alive and thank god I didn't have breakfast included 🤮! (There's no place like home!!)

I phoned up 27 hours before and booked a room . 1 hour before arrival I phoned up to let them know my time of arrival only to be told my room was no longer available. when I first phones i was told my room was safe . say no more . waste of time

Very welcoming, all facilities available! Would 100% stay again! 11/10
