Great dog friendly pub! We booked using the simple online form and we were able to choose the exact time that suited us very easily.

Service was fast for drinks and food and the staff were friendly. Simple pub food, fish and chips and burgers etc. Cooked well and tasty, can't beat fish and chips next to the seaside.

Dog treats available on the bar for four legged friends too!
Brilliant views across the bay, this place really does have a great location.

We have been twice and will definitely return on our future visits to New Quay

Dog friendly and very nice pub/restaurant for sitting indoors or out with our furry friends. I had a coffee and vegan breakfast which was lovely. Staff were very helpful and very welcoming. Will visit again

We went to dine, they have a limited menu, unfortunately the choices we made had sold out and there were no items that took our fancy, the pub is ok right on the sea front, fabulous view, sometimes you are able to see dolphins

It's ok. Friendly staff with a warm welcome. Other than that it's a bit generic and the food was very much standard. Fine if you like Wetherspoon's or similar. Beer is good tho!

On holiday in the area and this was our go to bar after a days walking for drinks and food. Although at first the kitchen was closed for works but opened the next few days with a new menu. We tried a few dishes during our time and was not disappointed with the burgers offering great value. Good drinks selection on offer, great views and to top it off it's dog friendly. What's not to love.

We loved this dog friendly hotel and pub! Last minute break away for two nights and couldn’t have been better!
Great warm welcome, warm stay and great beer! Thanks for making us feel so special. We will be back!
The food was great value and freshly cooked every time. The classic breakfast set us up perfectly for the day ahead walking.

My wife and I visited last night. 10.2.23...
Bar staff very friendly and welcoming... A good selection of beers and spirits. Menu was typical of a Marstons, so you know what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised as food was cooked to a very good standard. Chips were amazing..

Just came back home after a lovely meal at the Penwig. both I and the Mrs had the fish and chips and it was done just the way I like it . Big piece of cod nice crispy batter piping hot the chips were nicely cooked also crispy but not overcooked.
Will have to go again and try something else off the menu
