Really lovely hotel, with friendly staff and wonderful sea views. Our room (23) had a seating area in the bay window overlooking the beach. Breakfast is cooked to order with good veggie/vegan options. Restaurant was excellent I had one of the best vegan meals I’ve had in a restaurant. I would recommend the restaurant even if you’re not staying at the Glengower (booking is recommended) but if you’re planning to visit Aberystwyth I’d definitely recommend the Glengower.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise! 😮.
It didn't look that inviting from the outside, nor that big, However once inside I was met with a lovely warm welcome and smile. Huge place.
Dog Friendly 10/10
Staff friendly, warm and welcoming. Had a little chat with us. Nothing seem to much trouble to help. 10/10
Very clean - not cobweb could be seen. 10/10
Food was stunning 10/10

Would recommend for a drink and a meal.
Thank you to you all

Beautiful food! The service is wonderful, so friendly and everything arrived quickly. No problems at all with our meal, just good tasty food! We went to celebrate our anniversary and weren't disappointed. The vegetarian options are a little thin on the ground, but I was still able to have a great halloumi burger so not a big complaint. Would recommend to anyone staying in Aber :-)

This is a proper pub on the front in Aberystwyth. Fab food and awesome choice of beers. Log fire in the bar. Nice choice of food. Not cheap but good quality. Seating outside for nice days and sea views. Great place to spend a few hours with a loved one or friends

We arrived 20 minutes before the kitchen closed, but the staff were all really friendly and welcoming, including to our clumsy spaniel puppy! The food was delicious and the service efficient and attentive. Good cask beers, too.

As a former student of Aber Uni, The Glen holds a special place in my memories. It has successfully moved from being a pub to a lovely place to eat and stay. Great value, nice rooms with a wonderful breakfast selection. Highly recommended 👍

What a lovely weekend we had at The Glengower. Very helpful and friendly staff, warm and inviting log burner to keep you warm. I can go on and on about the hotel, but you need to visit there yourself.
I can highly recommend The Glengower, and we will be returning.

Beautiful food from a defined and well curated menu, great selection of craft beer and wines. We stayed in a room with sea view, thoroughly enjoyed the time with Glengower. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!
