This place is the worst pub I've ever visited. Ok if you like to mix with rough people and geriatrics. Badly managed, the staff are rude and clicky. The landlady cares only about existing customers that put a lot of $ in the till. A very judgement old lady, picks out her friends and has no time for newcomers. Discards people she doesn't like the look of. Nightlife is karaoke on a Friday which doesn't have a good quality system. The band/artists on a Saturday leave a lot to be desired. Wouldn't go to Masons arms if they were offering free beer every day for the rest of my life.

Locally used pub that was given a make over a few years ago, but has now gone a bit down hill, it doesn't take advantage of the passing train commuters by opening longer and serving take away coffee. Sometimes shut during days of the week.
