We visited on the chance they had spaces for Sunday lunch as we were staying at a nearby holiday house. Unfortunately they were fully booked but we stayed for a drink and a rest. The staff were lovely and very welcoming, the plates of food we saw being taken to diners looked amazing and the smells were mouthwatering. Outside and in the place has a great old local pub feel, there are wooden beams visible in the ceiling, a huge fireplace, the original stone walls and a number of quirky signs, hanging tankards and wall mounted plates that all come together to create a brilliant experience for visitors.

Gorgeous pub with very friendly staff and locals that made me and my partner feel right at home, lovely log fire and fantastic interior plus the food was very nice with generous portions at a very good price!
We will be visiting it again when we go next year.
Highly recommended 👌!!!

We've been using this pub for 25 years now. A real old world pub with open fire and masses of brass ware. Freehold with always a warm welcome.

This is a true village pub, that sells food. It does not pretend to be anything else. It has a nice selection of gin's and the Sunday lunch is great value for money.

Superb food and drink at a great price. Incredibly friendly, a true olde world atmosphere and decor, highly recommended.
