"Families welcome" but if your child is under 12 then leave your kids at home or with your friends as kids are not allowed in the pub!!!!! Shocking!!!!
If you pay cash you will not get your receipt so make sure you pay card. I asked for a receipt to share the bill with my friend but the waitress told me I can't have it. I questioned why, she told me it is like that when you pay cash. I had to ask then how much the drinks and chips were.
Arrogant owner!!! In a terrible manner told us that the kids are not allowed in a back beer garden. Not only rude to us but also to his staff, he told the waitress off for taking order from us for 2 bowls of chips!!! She looked terrified.
Not a nice experience at all, will not be coming back there.

Been taking my mother to try various places for Sunday dinner, forgot to book somewhere but Cefn Mably Arms was one of the next on the list to try, chanced it, recommend you book as they're busy, staff were super helpful and squeezed us in for a quick bit of food, staff were very friendly and lovely, service was top notch and the food was some of the best Sunday dinners we've had in a long time... 5 star isn't enough... fantastic place, love a top quality country pub type place. Can't wait to go back it's being put on the places to return list. The pork main was absolutely amazing, so was the cheese cake dessert and the whitebait starter tasted so fresh you'd think they caught it just before cooking it.

We went for an early evening meal and although have been a few times years ago but haven’t been in a long time. The pub is beautiful & had a great atmosphere. Had a table for two booked, we were 20 minutes early but it wasn’t a problem. The service I have to say was outstanding. We both ordered starters & mains. We had the Calamari & King Prawns to start. T-Bone Steak & Belly Pork mains. The food was fabulous. Presented beautifully and the staff were great all of them. The sauce on the king prawn starter was delicious & equally the Belly Pork was great with a crispy top & added extra cracking! The T-Bone steak is one of the best have had! Highly recommend, it was a fabulous meal. Will book babysitters in more often!

Great place for food, dog friendly in the bar. Good choice of every day pub food but also some more refined options for an evening meal. Lovely log fires & large beer garden with tables and umbrellas for when summer makes its next experience. Enjoyed Hake and chips with crispy gusting and the best twice cooked home made chips. The black and blue cheese burger was also immense! Highly recommend.

Beautiful meal, nice traditional atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend if you're passing by. I Went for the chicken a la creme and the cheesecake of the day which was malteser and white chocolate. Everybody in the party enjoyed their food.

Wow, what a cracking place to eat! Food was amazing and really generously portioned, staff were lovely, and we spent our entire meal basking in the sun! Location is very picturesque too, and with outdoor seating and a beer garden, very dog friendly (that said, I think they allow dogs indoors too!). Will definitely be coming here again to sample the weekday menu - the Sunday roasts were epic!
