Visited a few times recently following an evening walk in the local countryside, welcoming pub with a nice beer garden.
Good to see that they are following Covid guidelines fully including taking contact details for track and trace (very few pubs doing this at the moment!). Will be back again.

Not very clean, not very welcoming, and food pretty dreadful. Such a shame this is the only pub in this village. Most locals just don’t bother.
You have to wonder where the 5* reviews are coming from !?

Our walking group called in after a wander around the local area. A nice place to spend time with good, friendly service and a big outside seating area.

A repeater. Quite a range of basic pub grub and curries. Staff very welcoming and engaging. Pleased to add this in to my circuit.

New owners so thought I'll give it a go.Well when my beef dinner turned up I was shocked to see how small it was it looked like a child's portion the beef was tiny. I'm totally shocked that people in the trade have no clue. Warnings sign was there 3 cars in car park never again!

Friendly locals but very expensive drinks including soft drinks.

Excellent Sunday lunch, good beer, good prices.

Amazing food at great value esp Sunday Roast. Being an ale drinker i was extremly happy to find Doombar and a nice Brains on the pumps. Friendly staff make you feel most welcome. Nice beer garden for the summer. Good quiz on a tuesday. The place is nice, clean and tidy.. a great pub!
