Just visited this pub today (Saturday) for the first time and had lunch there and can't fault it. Staff friendly, food was amazing. The pub was busy and had a great atmosphere which was lovely to see after recent times. Will definitely be going again. Meant to take photos of the food but when it arrived we couldn't wait to tuck in so forgot! 😁 I had the cottage pie from the lite bite menu and my partner had a burger from the main menu with what looked and tasted like proper homemade chips. We both had hot apple crumble for pudding and left with full bellies and a smile on our face 😍

i dislike writing a negative review and i dont want it to come across in a bad way but it all needs improving. The service wasnt very good and the roasts we had were all cold some were sent back but didnt want the meat warming up as it was already far to overcooked. The yorkies were to doughy! it really wasnt a good meal and for the staff to not no the difference between lamb and beef shocked me

Ordered the Cod and Chips. You could count the number of Chips on your fingers, very small portion of mushy peas. And £1 per slice of bread and butter. Not good value for money. But tasted nice.

Having had a few Sunday meals here previous my last 2 visits have been a shambles Sunday August 7th my birthday took 3 friends for dinner we all ordered a hot roast dinner which was served stone cold, benefit of the doubt gave it another go today to be told we are not serving today as we have too many tables?¿? okay then take your A board in advertising food, plus your attitude was the pits, ignorant cow sprung to mind, if you ate the manageress you shouldn't be !!! Ended up with a roast beef dinner I'm the Dixie arms just as tasty more portions too and less cost so thank you for notcserving today as I know your competitors are far more polite accommodating and charged less for exactly the same menu but bigger portions, wouldn't recommend or use again rude staff !!!!

This pub is a rare exception in Bosworth that chooses to stay open later than 10pm. Excellent old style traditional pub.

We stopped in for lunch, having used this pub weekly, up until last few years.

The food was good, but the only form of heating was the open fire. Everyone in the pub was wearing overcoats.

It has taken 3 hours , until now to warm up and not feal ill from the cold.
We will not be returning until the warm weather returns
