Super Country Pub with amazing garden areas. Excellent selection of Wine, Beers, Gin, Rum, Cider etc.
Food although a bit pricey was beautifully presented and delicious.
Ambiance and decor of the Inside Restaurant was joyful.
Highly recommended 5* Pub.

Cannot fault this little gem. Amazing range of real beers, stunning food, great service and on a summers day/evening, it’s top quality sitting in the stages garden.

TOP TIP: book for food way in advance if you’d like to sit on the terrace, great view.

Surely one of the most picturesque pubs in the land! Beautiful gardens, stunning views. We only stopped for a beer ( wonderful pint of Harvey's) so can't speak for the food but the ambiance inside the pub was great as we're the staff. I would give the place 6 stars if I could.

An excellent pub in what could be the best acre in West Sussex or the world.
Good service and attention to keeping the customer happy.
Good menu with variety of produce the changes regularly.
And a garden that keeps on giving better and better views as you climb the hill. - Just remember to take your empties back to save the staff the slog.

Best roast I’ve ever had!!
Staff were phenomenal and very accommodating for the large group I went there with.

Great drinks selection with delicious mulled wine for the cold winters.
The outdoor fire and great and the venue is very cosy and worth the visit.

Had to give one star to record my review but I don't think it is worth that! Booked Sunday lunch for 1.15pm travelled 40 miles to get there as it had been recommended to us. Ordered before hand as Roast Beef joint was carved by us at the table. The food arrived 35 minutes after we arrived. I asked for the beef to be cooked 'Medium' but it was Rare, blood still evident. It was very tough and lots of fat which we could not eat also the knife was blunt. We only eat half the joint as it was terrible. Also I would like to add that I have nothing against DOGS but a family, near us, had two dogs in the restaurant and they were not kept under control until we asked them to. The dogs were around under our table, which we did not like. Please ask customers who bring their dogs in, to keep them on a short lead and under control I could never recommend this pub. Terrible meal.

Arrived at the pub on foot and bedraggled in the December rain after a walk through the nearby woods. We were met by friendly staff and a lovely warming fire. We had booked for lunch, which was very tasty, and the staff were helpful with vegan/vegetarian options. Vegan main (ravioli) lacked flavour but starter and dessert were delicious. Great selection of drinks at the bar. Lovely location. Would recommend.
