Delicious food and Ken and Lynn are wonderful hosts. Great steak and curry nights and they always have a tasty veggie offering too. The open fire is so welcoming in the main room, cosy even with Covid measures in place. The wine list is great and excellent beers and ales on tap. We love it here. Listen out for Alfie....!

Really nice local pub- super friendly, excellently keot beer (5 stars from Cask Marque) and a good food menu, including pizza nights with a proper wood fired pizza oven. Well recommended!

Had a fantastic Sunday Roast. Staff were lovely, friendly and very accommodating especially as I was cheeky and asked for two meats on the plated roast option. The food was spectacular; very well presented and tasted fantastic with a great selection of vegetables. Overall a fantastic pub and exceptional food. Will definitely be coming back!

Excellent country pub. Well decorated, honest pub grub and a very warm welcome. Wish it was within walking distance as the ales are good too!

Had a fabulous lunch at Black Horse this week.
Wonderful atmosphere, great bar tenders, and comfortable seating. The outdoor patio is huge and a great kids playground to keep the younger ones entertained. The food was really a star though - will certainly be back!

Only visited to take my friend to see her family, so the pub was closed at the time, but it's a beautiful place. I was struck by how clean it was, not the first thing that usually strikes me about a pub. And there was just the right amount of Christmasssy too. Definitely somewhere I want to visit when it's open.

Really friendly and kind staff! The food was delicious and the venue itself was so lovely. We used the marquee in the garden for a baby shower and it was a lovely day!
