Lovely lunch. We had sandwiches which were asked with fillings, side salad and crisps. Looking at other people's lunches they were all very good portions. Looking out onto the river. Really lovely staff. Dog friendly outside not sure bout inside as we wanted to look at the view. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for a pint and a sandwich while riding around the area. Both were excellent, and reasonably priced.
It is always a delight to visit an establishment that is such a well-oiled machine. From the moment we walked in to leaving, the staff and service were excellent.

Visited for lunch on a hot and sunny holiday Saturday. Once we found a table everything was great. The bar and food ordering is very well organised with plenty of staff. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Very dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

We didn't stay over night but used the pub as our base to e plore the local beautiful area. A man operated ferry took us across the river then we were able to follow a beautiful walk along the river through beautiful woodland to the footbridge so we could walk back to the pub for a much needed drink. The food looked gorgeous and there were plenty of people eating. We enjoyed a drink outside looking across the water. Stunning, highly recommended.

Pub is in a popular location for walking in the Wye valley. Lots of seating inside and outside. Very busy when we went on a Saturday but food still turned up quickly.
I felt it was slightly over priced but it is also in a fairly remote area, so perhaps to be expected.

Most beautiful place and staff are great. Can't do enough. The food is really good and lovely atmosphere in the bar and dining area. Rooms are really well done out and bathrooms gorgeous.

Good pit stop when walking around Symond Yat. We had the Ferrymans cheese platter. It was £14 and the portion sizes were incredible, we couldn't finish all the cheese so they gave us some tin foil to bring it back home with us. Good range of local drinks. And dog friendly in the bar area too.

We attempted to book a table online using google at 18:38 on the 30/12/22 for 10 people at 12 noon the following day. Obviously this is a long shot on a popular day but nevertheless we heard nothing back until they cancelled us at 11:14, just 46 minutes before we were due to arrive. Have used this pub many times and had great meals but the admin, in my opinion, should be better.
