I popped in with my son for a meal yesterday (25th October). We were immediately greeted by staff behind the bar and shown to a table. The food was excellent and good value for money whilst the staff (Charlotte and a young blond haired lady) could not have been more polite and attentive. Superb service. We will return with more family.

Very friendly and welcoming. Dogs and children allowed. Excellent service and lots of choice on menu. Reasonably priced and very good food.

Superb steak and really friendly staff. I asked for blue cheese sauce which they didn't offer but they still made one and it was awesome.

Had drinks in here a couple of times during our stay at Helm lodge. Had a meal here with a group of 18 celebrating a 60th birthday. Service was excellent and all the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. We didn't make it easy for them as there was a mix up with some of the meals (our fault) they didn't complain and gave what we ordered without fuss. The food was lovely and very generous portions 4 of our party stayed at the hotel and were happy with their rooms and the service. The Punch Bowl has a nice friendly atmosphere and we all felt comfortable there.

Had an excellent Christmas lunch. Food was really good. Lovely Christmas decorations and service was quick and with a smile.
