Shower not working. Location good, but over priced. Staff pleasant enough, but the ambience was unprofessional and dodgy. Checked in for 2 nights at the small bar, which had some very drunk customers, even at 4pm. Entrance and interior is shoddy, all a bit tired and cheaply converted - no double glazing and poor sound proofing. Shower not working. Poor low pressure plumbing and showers. Party in the bar below with incredibly loud music, drunken shouting and singing, literally filling the accomodation above. Bar is a loud, poorly managed drinking den - not pleasant. Building felt unsafe as the key coded main entrance door was not secured and constantly left open. No staff on site overnight. Never again.

Location is good but sadly that is all. Mouldy bathroom, towels with massive holes and problems with lights. Extremely noisy. Needs a lot of work and attention to be fit for guests. Extremely run down

Overall very nice shame they didn't offer breakfast especially as B and b was still written all over the front of the pub. Lovely host though. One more thing black shower curtain made it very dark whilst taking a shower.

Great car park, staff very helpful, hotel room very clean! A 10 minute walk to town and plenty of buses from just outside to get you around the City.

Hi guys just wanna tell you it’s nice pub nice location but one of staff rude ,rude service give people dirty look like you ask her for free drink even if u small on her face still rude to you maybe she got problem if her life or I dunno she name Gabbi if you come to that pub and you find her just walk away better for you , because she gonna drive you mad with her service , have nice time everyone in pub without Gabbi lol …

This place was absolutely perfect for our stay! It was so cozy and cute and not a terribly far walk from all we wanted to do. They were also so friendly! I highly recommend staying here for a nice affordable stay :)

Love this pub! An amazing find in the heart of Oxford. Faboulous crowd, great staff and reasonable prices. We had a fantastic time. Thank you for a fun night. Shall be back!!! It's a must for anyone coming to Oxford who wants to experience an authentic pub with amazing food.
