We made a last minute booking on our way home from being in the West Country. And we have to say the initial greeting on Sunday afternoon was just perfect we where shown to Room 3 which was a very nice room very clean and comfortable. Of course we made our way down to the bar for a refreshing drink or two. We also booked for dinner and have to say the food was outstanding a brilliant chef. Staff had also changed in the bar and restaurant area and again we could not fault them in any way. We had a good sleep and breakfast was also outstanding. Would we go back most definitely without a doubt. Can we just say well done to everyone at the kings Arms. Thank you.

Such a lovely pub and place to stay. The staff were really welcoming, generous and helpful, and it's perfectly situated in a charming Somerset village. The rooms were great and very comfortable- and the food was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend a stay.

Had an Onion Bhaji sandwich which sounds odd, but what a revelation it was - Fantastic. Good service coupled with good unusual choice of eats. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Drove via Montacute village today and spotted this cosy place, so stopped for a coffee with a small child and a dog. Very friendly and accommodating staff, welcomed us with the dog into their setting with no issues. Thank you

We came for lunch before going to Montacute national trust. It was the perfect place for meeting friends. The staff were so friendly, helpful and responsive. They were very accommodating of my son's dietary needs and made the children feel so welcome. The food was delicious and great portion size. Highly recommend the onion bhaji sandwich. We would definitely come here again!
