A great little Oasis in the middle of nowhere (metaphorically speaking)
We were most welcomed and fed and duly watered. Cheese and Ham toasty was up with the best ever and the real ale on tap was fabulous. Definitely worth a stop if you can and worth a diversion if you can't!

World's greatest ham and cheese toasties right here! Wonderful place with a lovely atmosphere. Had a small lunch in this very cozy inn after a morning drive, it was fantastic.

Looking back at photos from this time four years ago reminded me about the amazing Crask Inn. We drove up in the evening with a plan to camp on Ben Klibreck. We called in at the Crask Inn on the way past for a drink. Douglas was super kind, he recommended a great camping spot on the hill. As the weather seemed dicey he offered for us to come back and camp at the inn if it turned for the worse. It’s a lovely place and you will be treated like an old friend. Don’t pass by without stopping! Thank you Douglas :)

My second visit to the Crask Inn.
My first time was in 2017 as I was passing on my 10,000 mile cycle ride around, up, down and across mainland Britain.

The Crask Inn has become a destination stop when I am in the Highlands as it is such a quaint little pub that is literally in the middle of nowhere.
Despite it being remote, you are guaranteed a great pint and nice food to boot!

The owner is friendly, has banter with guests and then quietly leaves them to it to enjoy a pint in front of an open fire.

Being on the LEJOG or JOLEG (Whichever way you do it), there are always interesting people to meet and chat with.

All in all, this amazing little pub comes highly recommended.

Quirky little pub, literally in the middle of nowhere. Nice, simple tea room fare with all day breakfast, snacks, real coffee and alcoholic beverages. Good value and clean. Signposting could be improved to attract more passing trade.
