Being with a party of 6, we were made ever so welcome as soon as we arrived. The food was wonderful , everyone had different but all plates were returned clean.not. Not something i would normally order liver and onions, but was so glad i did, it was special. The bread and butter pudding was again very special just like all the staff. We all said what a wonderful night it had been.

Amazing food staff were so lovely and friendly, felt like fine dining, chef came out and asked us how the food was and had a chat as the menu was new, the experience here was 1st class by everyone will be coming back again, thank you😊

Nice place. Very friendly staff. Good food. Location handy just off A55, Llanfair doesn't have much going on, but the pub has everything you need for a short stay. Would go again.

Gastro pub with ensuite rooms upstairs. The property downstairs is split 60% restaurant and 40% bar and has a great atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable with ensuites, TV, coffee and tea. There is an outside terrace and the ground coffee latte was fantastic. This venue is opposite the railway station with the longest place (see photo as too long to write). Lots of great walks nearby. We only had breakfast but the food and the service

Good quality and well priced menu, service was average, no sweets available as Chef opted for an early finish!
We chose the Penrhos Arms on the strength of fairly positive reviews left by previous diners but to be truthful we fairly disappointed.
Whether we would revisit the Penrhos Arms is debatable!

Review based on lunchtime dining only. Several items not on menu, but food we did order was very good. Clean and comfortable restaurant. Service a little slow, but staff were friendly and happy to help.
