Ferry House Inn

Perfect location to get away from it all - beautiful and quiet. Our room was large, cool, clean and comfortable. The view was stunning - night and day there was something to see. Well stocked tea/coffee making facility. The bar/lounge/restaurant area was attractive with fabulous views over the river. Very good breakfast, plenty of choice. The lunch and evening menus offer something to suit everyone. The access roads to the inn are quite narrow, but there's more traffic on the river than on the roads!

Called in for a quick drink whilst staying in the area, it was a full moon the evening we visited and the view of the moon rising above the water and casting it's reflection was amazing with the back wall just being one big window it doesn't matter where you sit you have a fantastic view. Didn't eat here but the food looked great and seemed to be at a reasonable price, the specials board had some great sounding options.

A superb place to stay. Lovely views and great rooms. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We had a family buffet at the Ferry House which was amazing. A great selection of food both hot and cold. Would highly recommend. Many thanks to all the staff that made our event run smoothly.

The staff and the owners were so lovely, friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights and we will definitely stay again. Amazing views, delicious food and always a welcome when we got back from a trip out. Perfect stay.

I travel a lot for business and it's not often you find a gem like this. Lovely clean spacious and well appointed rooms with amazing views over the water. They also do great food and the staff were brilliant. If I ever come this way again, this is where I'll be staying!

Parked for one night there (Brit Stops) and had a meal in the restaurant. Very friendly staff and very good meals and drinks. Very dog friendly. We enjoyed it, thank you very much.

Such a lovely meal, friendly staff and very welcoming! They were happy for us to stay in our Campervan in the car park & very dog friendly. Highly recommend 😊

Well what can I Say about this place except wow!!
We rang ahead to ask if we could park up for the night as we were in a small camper, and they were more than accommodating. We received a really warm welcome from Both the staff and the locals, and the meal we had was outstanding (fish chowder and boneless plaice special). It was Christmas Eve and the atmosphere was really nice. On Christmas Day at 11am they opened again and offered the locals a free drink (and that invitation was extended to us). All in all a really nice enjoyable stay that I highly recommend. Thank you for helping to make our get away Christmas so special x
