Very nice. Unfortunately no sandwiches or light bites on the menu so I feel they may lose a few customers because of this. However the staff are very friendly, the inside of the pub is lovely and the fireplace is lush. The food we did have was very good. The pie especially was very very tasty and absolutely huge! I wasn't a fan of the chunky chips as I prefer softer chips, but my partner really liked them. Would return again for an evening meal but probably avoid at lunch time as lighter options aren't available.

Stopped for lunch, this place is really oldie worldie and well worth a visit for food or just drinks. Extremely dog friendly and friendly staff which were full of knowledge on the history of the building. I had steak ale pie and it was hearty, hot and so so good. Definitely a visit ☺️

Unfriendly staff, when asked to sit outside to eat and order food we were glared at and rudely spoken to. A welcome In the hills?? I don't think so. Ended up going to the Star Inn just a stone throw away and they were so friendly and accommodating it was lovely! I don't rate the White Hart at all and I would avoid it. zero out of 10. Unwelcoming, unfriendly and will surely close with horrendous customer service...

Wow! Just what you want when passing. I was blow away by the quality of Sunday lunch. Exceptional, simply exceptional. The staff were very nice kind and we had no booking, but I'd book if I was going again to assure a seat. Definitely a gem of the area . Don't hesitate, welcoming to all! Many thanks

A return visit to Talybont for us and pleased to find a warm welcome at the White Hart again over the course of a long weekend. There’s a friendly atmosphere, warm fire and the food and real ales are all good! We ate there two nights running! Will look forward to returning on our next stay in the village.
