Good quality pub food with a substantial menu to choose from at a very reasonable price. Menu a bit sticky but loos lovely and clean and quick table service. No inflated prices which makes it really good value for money. Loved the old photos on the wall of the village and surrounding area. It was very busy so a very popular pace.

We came for food with our nieces and it used to be a great place to be. I know it read busy but if it is too much to handle when every table is used than they need to change the amount of tables.
It started with getting soda water instead of a lemonade, honest mistake of the sirup is empty you won't see it.
But then 50 minutes waiting for our food. In which we were asked 12 times of we wanted another drink. When we asked where our food is we were told "It will be made after the big table." 5 minutes later our food did arrive. Luke warm we could have complained but at that point it was 9PM and to be honest we didn't want to wait any longer we were ready to walk out. We spend the entire day out and just wanted to get our nieces feed and to bed.
The quality of the food was not worth the wait and neither was the price.
When I mentioned that the wait was unacceptable and the food was like warm was I went to pay. I was told "I'm very sorry we are very busy tonight."
Well the staff had enough time for chats by the bay and to ask if we wanted more drinks.

I'm sorry to say that we won't be back and we won't recommend it either. We are also not the first to have had this experience but maybe when we go for a meal and pay nearly £60 we expect excellence and not something that tastes like blend frozen ready meals that my 11 year old niece could have heated up in the microwave.

First and last ever time I will come here.
Got welcomed by people smoking right by the entrance, we are non smokers so this is disgusting and we have kids with us.

Waited a good 10 minutes before anyone took us to our seat, just kept walking past us.

Now don’t get me started on the food. If you want a cold tasteless frozen meal this is the place to go .
The food is absolutely DISGUSTING, Had a Sunday dinner. (Vegetarian) it was cold. Not even luke warm.
Watery tasteless gravy About 2 carrots on my plate. Tasteless mushroom wellington with chickpeas inside. Oven roasties which were stale, and obviously reheated over and over same with the Yorkshire pudding. I would insert a picture but it doesn’t give me the option so I shall do it on trip advisor.

I’ve had nicer Sunday dinners in hospital.

Over priced for a meal which would £3 to make. Would not recommend to anyone. £50 down .

We visited on a busy Saturday evening for an anniversary meal with 6 other family members, 3 were late arriving and the staff were great and very understanding.

Lucky we get in before they close it. We have delicious food for dinner 🍽️. But it's a bit noisy for people who are drunk 😬. Not my thing. But we totally enjoy our food.. nice staff by the way

Had a fab lunch here in the Summer so thought we'd come Christmas week for lunch. It was disappointing. No Christmas atmosphere and we were sat in a booth tucked away where people kept entering the pub so it was cold. The food was very average and I feel overpriced for what it was. I enjoyed the lasagne but the fish and chips were poor with very basic sliced bread and butter.

Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere and brilliant staff. 10/10 overall for me. I had such a positive experience with my family that I had a first date here and had a lovely time. Thank you!
