This gym is fantastic. It's more closer to a Pure Gym style than a full on health club but that's a good thing for me who is just after good quality and new equipment. There is plenty of parking space, plenty of equipment even when I come at 5 o clock. Staff are very friendly and there's plenty of classes on offer to. I managed to get on a special offers but even without it it offers good value. Defo worth the 5*

The good........Well kitted out and have some really good equipment. Fair pricing for a years commitment. Generous opening times but could be longer at weekends. Staff seem pretty helpful when asked.

The bad......very busy at peak times, daytime parking is a joke here also and I had to park a loooong way from the gym. I've never been able to book a class using the app, they seem to show up and be instantly full. Class I attended during the day was one of the worst spinning classes I've ever done. Couldn't hear the instructor and he kept getting off the bike to have a walk around (never seen that before).

Overall it's quite local for me but will check out some other gyms when I'm due to renew my membership.

I started 4 months ago to start personal training and haven't looked back. Leah, my trainer, is amazing and the equipment is new and easy to use; she is patient and tailors the sessions to each individual's needs. Good atmosphere and the gym has so many great pieces of equipment. It is well looked after and used by people of all ages and backgrounds. A great place to work out.

Spacious gym with a great array of equipment. Very clean and tidy. A lot of space between equipment so you don't feel on top of each other. Very friendly staff that will help you achieve your goals. Plenty of classes to keep it interesting.

2/3 weeks before the gym fundamentally closed, i purchased two annual upfront memberships for fit4life for me and my partner.

I’ve had a long spell away from any sort of formal fitness and honestly, I was quite intimidated by going back into a gym. It might seem weird to some, but it was quite a big deal for me taking that first Step to getting fitter.

So imagine my horror when Luke dropped that video about changing the gym.

Now my initial response to it (as a business owner myself) was fair play, he’s creating a unique value proposition in the face of a changing industry and new local competitors. But, the gym i joined would have a totally different feel, I can’t remember what he coined it, a high performance personal training centre or so. That wasn’t the vibe I was going for, It would be amazing for some people, but not for me. I don’t want ”world class personal training”

As I said, I understood he decision to change things.

So, I emailed Luke and said best of luck in the future, I wish you well with it, but it’s not for me, please could you cancel our memberships and refund the fees.

This was met with a total snotty attitude, wasn’t interested at all with doing the right thing, instead just got back totally rude emails that really got my back up.

I mentioned to Luke that his attitude was totally off base and I wouldn’t hesitate in taking legal action to claim the money back, and he attitude was bring it on. Totally disgusted, bemused and shocked at the levels he’ll stoop to, all for the sake of less than £500. It Wreaks of desperation and it seems he couldn’t care less about me, or any of the rest of his clients so it seems.

I just wanted to let you know what you’re dealing with and I’m sure if anyone gets to read this, Luke’s responses will be totally on brand, argumentative and a total disdain for the people in his community 👌🏼👌🏼

It can’t be long till we see this place boarded up/liquidated/sold on. Hopefully this gym will be under better management soon 👌🏼

I joined this gym so I could train 6am to 7am but three months left on my annual membership the opening times changed but I wasn't informed about this change so I turned up as normal 05.50am ready to improve my already amazing body but sadly by 06.10 nobody turned up to open the gym.i tried ringing on and off for four days and finally got a response on the fourth day and then I was told about all the changes.i told them I can only train at that time because of my work commitments and asked for my three months refund but was told no refund.you don't treat your members like this you should make refunds to all members in a position like mine,I feel like I've been robbed of my hard earned money(three months membership =67.50p I could go out and have a nice meal with that. Please get your act together and honour your members.

Owner has been very responsive to this feedback and has now implemented two cleaning crews and personally apologised. He has been proactive with dangerous floor and is attempting to re organise the gym. Still awaiting cleanliness to improve but it's early
I have been going to this gym for a few months. It is never cleaned correctly and the machines are cleaned around if cleaning is done. They have built a new platform for free weight benches which is unsafe. All floor is dropping in. Owner/management are aware an no signs/ cordons were in place and I tripped with 2x 30kg dumbells in my hands. Luckily just twisted my knee. Shocking practice and zero health and safety

Was a great gym when I joined last year, but its gone drastically down hill. The equipment isn't maintained or serviced, there are plenty of machines not working correctly. For over a month it was a working construction site. Staff we friendly enough, changing rooms aren't very clean and the sauna didn't work whilst I was there. Very expensive too for what it is. New members were reeled in with new offers, but nothing for existing members.
