Great gym with heated pool. Classes available for a reasonable fee.

I was a member of this fantastic Gym 5 years ago, when I was just 16 years old. A few years later, I was lucky enough to be offered a position working here. I can honestly say, it's the BEST gym to not only train in, but to work in too. The Manager is just wonderful. You couldn't get a fairer, more supportive boss. The other staff are ace too, we make a wonderful team and we are all firm friends :) I'm a keen/aspiring body builder and Gymetc Poulton has all equipment I need. I especially love to train chest, but I'm not adverse to a banging leg day either. I really do feel like it was the best decision of my life to work here :)

just rejoined and staff still friendly and helpful. My only negative is that the pool looks dirty, not the water, just the tiling and windows which when going into the pool is a bit off putting. Is it ever cleaned? Also, noticed guy in jacuzzi with his phone. I don’t like that he could be taking pictures. It’s creepy. Do you have to play pool cam in refreshment area?

Why does it close at 8pm on a Friday and not open until 9am on a weekend? Absolutely rubbish.

Some people don't want to go out on a Friday night and want to hit the gym.

Some people want to get the gym done and dusted before the day begins at the weekend.

Change your times please!!

Also, fix the sauna. It's broke and the temperature doesn't rise.

Pool area lovely and dimly lit so calming area, felt it needs a good clean though, floors etc. Too much chlorine in the jacuzzi, everyone was saying same. Gym area really good

IF YOU ARE ASTHMATIC AVOID. STAFF, CANNOT ACCOMPLISH GYM MEMBERS TO FOLLOW PRIMARY RULES.

Good prices, big choice to train, pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and lovely staff

It's a nice gym just small compared to leyland. So if you're local and don't have any options, great. The pool is 1.2meters
Very box room sauna (which wasn't hot 🔥🤦🏾‍♀️) steam was on tho👏🏾 but didn't have an inside handle so ppl were giving tips of how to close it lol.
Very typical, small, circle jacuzzi basically a confined space (I wasn't ready, and I don't mean the Coco Virus ready. No, just being on top of each other.

Nice staff and it seems clean.
Better showers than leyland AND controlled excess hair in this gyms floors in the ladies is way better, but I went at after 7pm
