However, I went there yesterday and started coughing in the jacuzzi. One of the member of the club complained that it was too hot and asked the lifeguard to check the temperature which was 32 degrees, so not normal for a jacuzzi. I kept coughing once leaving the club and throughout the night. I called 111 who told me that this was probably due to a bacteria in the jacuzzi which could be in my lungs. Doctor sent a prescription to the local pharmacy as a matter of emergency. I have been in touch with the club both by mail and over the phone and so far no answer. They are definitely quicker to call you several times a day when you ask information about a potential membership than sorting out issues. I am clearly unsatisfied and will provide note for doctors to cancel my membership and if they make any difficulties, I will take legal measures. So far no phone call from the manager as said on the phone.
I've tried to speak to someone at the reception, they directed me to make a complaint on DL app which sadly has not been working for quite a while now, so I'm not sure what am I supposed to do. It's a headache which quite frankly I shouldn't be having. I'm left with no option but to stop the direct debit.
That means that instead of relaxing and enjoying your time there you have to rush even more than during the week.
Waste of money and I will be cancelling the membership
The gym is open and spacious as well as a lovely view of Kingston whilst having a cardio workout.
Very clean facilities and they offer studio classes from Yoga , Pilates, Blaze, Cyclone and Body Pump. The list just goes on. My favourite been Blaze.
The facilities are ample with a nice pool, spa and steam room if you want to relax. I have not attended many of the classes at this particular club but the provision is likely to be ample.
If you want to join a branch with rackets, I would strongly recommend making your way to David Lloyd, Raynes Park.
This is my local club and, on the rare occasion that I do have time in the morning, I really enjoy visiting the club.
