Fantastic facilities and at an affordable price. £4.80 for a swim. You'll need a padlock for the lockers, you can buy them there for £5 or bring your own. Jacuzzi is lovely too but popular.

I left the gym years ago due to the overpriced membership from fusion compared to poor service offered, broken equipment and lack of action after flagging up issues. I recently visited this place and got talking to a member as i tried to fill my water bottle from the broken stand and it seems like the same issues are plaguing the place. To quote what was said, ‘they just don’t care.’ Toilets are digusting, especially the ones in the reception area. Not cleaned enough at peak times such as the weekend. Smelly too!

Library looks decent but opening hours are not the best with them remaining closed on some weekdays. Offer free wifi which is good, but again restricted to one device only per registered library card and electronic outlets are not in the best places so you may have a lady warning you of your laptop cable due to ‘health and safety’. Why not just put desks where the electricity outlets are? Selection of books on non fiction topics arent the best (used to be better before it was revamped.) Also think there could be a study area. I just think the library could serve the community and schools in the area better. Oh yes, and last time i was there i spotted a cockroach, so there's that.

Whole place could do with being revamped, but Fusion seem set to run it into the ground.

Indeed i have complained, both when i was a member and when i recently visited, but yet to receive an official response.

Been a wonderful experience for me. Life changing . The encouragement that I have had from staff has been invaluable.

Poolside staff have constantly encouraged me and taken the time to speak to me about my progress. The training with aqua physio has really helped to get me on a road to better health and without it I would still be sitting at home.
The front desk staff always encourage and ask me how im doing . They are lovely.

I've gone from inactivity to being able to swim lengths. Personal best is 34 to date. Even though one leg doesn't work properly (bit like Nemo with a dodgy fin)

You guys cannot know how much coming there has meant to me and how its helped me.

Okay facilities. Sometimes it could use a little extra cleaning... but the down side is the cancellation of membership: one month in advance, AT LEAST. That means it can be up to 59 days in advance, if it happens after the 1st of the month. That is a steal and fusion lifestyle won’t refund anything. Pay per use is great, 5.

Very limited machines, free weights and even space itself. Plus gets very busy and always ends up being a queue to use equipment. Not fit for purpose as a gym however staff are a lot nicer now then before.

Great gym classes swimming pool cafe library..sauna steam room. Me time ⏲️ 🙂
