Small foreign guy threatening everyone around gym for no reason and pushing people makes everyone feel uncomfortable puts you off your training won’t be going back totally unacceptable

Edit: completely fair reflection to say it is dirty, never once saw the bathrooms in a clean condition and the rest of the gym was bad as well. And I was told when I signed up it was monthly rolling, no mention of a months notice for cancelling and your staff were very rude when I asked for assistance with the matter. And judging by your laughable responses to reviews nothing positive will change and I can see why your staff are so rude and unhelpful.//Cramped with very limited equipment, customer service is poor and you get charged for another month when you try to leave, even though you now live 50 miles away they're reasoning is "you are still welcome to use the gym". Only used for convenience of location, many better gyms in kings Lynn that won't treat you like dirt even though you've been a long term member. Also very dirty, as if it's cleaned once a month and they never fix anything that is broken.

after 15 months membership:

pros:
-big parking lot
-some of the members are helpful and nice

cons:
-dirty, Mold in the shower rooms which are used for changing clothes (looks gross and not healthy for people with asthma), usually shower "tray" is not cleaned so hair and fluffs are stays there, grout is white originally but usually is amber by the dirt, smells comes back from the drain.
-electric vehicle charger usually blocked by other members with non electric vehicles so can't get access to them.
-deducted Novembers pay while gym closed due to the lockdown
-no cleaning material, when i asked how i can clean the spilled water in the shower room the simply answer was "use your personal towel". i think a mop would be better use for this....
-the gym for long time wasn't available in the night times. (anytime should be available ANY TIME. this is why i paid £30 a month instead of £15 in the other gyms around Lynn. no refund or no any offers for this inconvenience.)

Its a shame google dont do minus numbers because 1 star is way too high for these cowboys. Some bright spark at anytime fitness decided to go from a fob entry to a qr entry system overnight without notifying any of the members. No email no text, no phone call nothing. Then wonder why people were angry. Beats me?? 3 days on the trot me and my friends could not gain entry to train at 430am, Even with their fantastic fool proof qr code system!! On 11/6/21 15 people from 420 am to 620 am came and left because the doors would not open. So just to be clear you pay anytime fitness cash so you can train there anytime 24/7 as the name suggests, but they cant guarantee you can get in!! Real clever set up have here guys , Lets take peoples money and not let them in. After numerous phone calls and emails I have since left with 3 of my friends and joined another gym. And guess what no money is being returned for the 6 months remaining, even thou its anytime fitness who has breached the so called contract which i signed up for of train any time you want 24/7 365 not me.!! . So please please people do not get sucked into the same trap i did, these guys are money mad crooks who are just interested in how many direct debits they can get. No interest or idea about training. Cant wait for pure gym to open on hardwick estate real soon. Hopefully anytime fitness will learn from them not to treat people like fools in future.

I wish I could leave a lower star score but unfortunately they don't have minus. I started my membership before the pandemic and then they were closed so I couldn't go which was no problem but they were still taking my money. after a few months of this I tried to call them and I left them countless voice messages trying to say that I wanted to cancel my membership because I can't afford to pay for something that I'm not receiving and I got nowhere so I cancelled my direct debit and then a few months later I got a text saying they were cancelling my account and sending my unpaid months to the debt collectors so I got in contact with anytime Fitness and they said that I had to pay for a month that I wasn't even there then a few days later I received a text saying that they have added £12 as a late fee so I rang them up and all they had to say was that I needed to pay another £30 to cancel my membership because they hadn't actually done it before when they said they would. So now I have spent hundreds for a membership when I have been twice. Don't sign up unless you either like wasting money or plan to never cancel your membership. I'm so disappointed with them and I will never be starting back up with them because of this and you shouldn't either to make sure this doesn't happen to you.

What a joke, joined this gym over a year ago, recommended my mates to this place only to be messed about continously in trying to gain access unsuccessfully. This gym is supposed to be a 24/7 gym which should be open at all times (excluding lockdown period).
Firstly, Upon joining the gym we were made to purchase a £30 key fobb to gain entry which has never worked, even after being told the fobb has been activated and reassigned! Each day I have to wait at the door or in the carpark for someone to let me in. On various occasions I have had to ask training members inside the gym to let me in.
Secondly, there is no communication between the gym and the members. You ring a number which no one answers, you leave mutiple voicemail messages having no response back!! God knows who you contact in an event of an emergency! However, if you want to join then someone is available to speak!
Two weeks ago the door entry system was changed overnight and no member was informed. Me my mates travel 20 miles plus to this gym, passing 3 local gyms which we can use but there's no consideration or appreciation from the management about this. Last week after the 4th failed attempt to use the new QR code entry system, me and my mates decided not to train at this awful place. The SALES manager Pat who says she is not a manager kept blaming members for not using the qr code properly, this can be the case for one of two members, not the 15 members all siting outside one morning. After making a number of calls to terminate our membership we managed to end our membership, however the SALES manager Pat managed to charge me and another mate 2 months membership and another mate lost the remaining term of his membership (8 months)even though it was anytime fitness at fault and in breach of the contract; we were penalised for this and refused any refund. From my view, there is no point training at a gym which you can't get into, that is the whole point in joining a 24/7 gym that should be available to access anytime of the day! The management keep saying that the problem with the entry system is sorted, but please do not believe them, they will get you to sign into a contract and make you pay the whole term.

This gym is by far the worst one i have been to in the recent years, you try calling the gym and you are met with the answer phone constantly, are there any staff who work there? Made many trips down early in the morning and could not gain access to the (24/7) gym, they need to remove the 'Anytime' from the name. The new door entry system that suddenly appeared overnight was not mentioned to any member until AFTER many of us had travelled down and had to wait for over an hour outside because the main door was locked. The QR scan on the phone failed many times, other members had to let us in on a few occasions. I cancelled my membership via the link on their website in which i got an email confirmation stating the following: 'A member of the team will be in contact with you within the next 10 days regarding your request.' No member ever got in contact with me, instead i get an email 10 days later confirming my membership termination which requires '1 full calendar months notice' which i gave them, and today I receive multiple emails that my direct debit has just been setup with 'TriFit Gym Ltd' who are taking over Anytime Fitness stated on another email, for 12 months at £29.95. I have NOT signed ANY contract and was not in any contract with Anytime Fitness before I cancelled, I have been there for well over a year. If this is a technical mistake I want an apology from the manager at this gym, If any money is taken out of my bank account regarding this 'new' direct debit that THEY have set up themselves without informing me and AFTER i received confirmation that my membership has been cancelled and i will be billed for one final payment, then i will go into legal action. A total SCAM!

Came here to mention cleanliness of the bathrooms and it seems this has been an ongoing issue for some time. Back in on the Tuesday after the most recent lockdown and the white area in the sink and toilet had black dust and hairs which is still there.
Weights are never re racked - problem is that there are 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25kg plates but only 4 locations on the squat racks in which to place them. In every gym I've ever been to staff will periodically go around and organise but I've not once seen it done here in a year.
Squat racks are placed too close together - if one is in use then it isn't safe to change plates on the other.
Leg press is so close the wall it makes adding/ removing weights awkward and potential for injury.
Has all the equipment needed to be a great little 24/7 gym just being let down
