Abbey Spa & Wellness

I went to this Spa yesterday with my girlfriend. We were both thoroughly impressed with the facilities and treatment received. The atmosphere and the etiquette of the clients and staff members were very warm and welcoming.

There is a range of different steam rooms available to use, 4 in total. The hydrotherapy pool is also great for sore muscles.

The massage we received as part of a package deal I purchased on amazon was amazing. We received a couples massage, where explicit attention was given to us both per our needs and issues. Very relaxing and the staff were very well qualified and professional. Would recommend to anyone, especially to any locals looking for good leisure/spa facilities.

I had a back, neck and shoulder massage with Sarah Jane and it was amazing.

She listened to me with regards to the areas that required the most attention and was spot on with her technique.

A really nice friendly person as well which definitely helps. I can really recommend her massages and will be booking again!

The spa was great - compact, with four different hot rooms, a whirlpool and relaxation rooms. A great place to go and forget about the world for a while! However, the highlight was a wonderful back massage from Sarah-Jane. It was my first ever massage so I didn't know what to expect and was a little apprehensive, but she was very welcoming and friendly and instantly put me at my ease. I am completely converted! I felt so relaxed at the end of it – Sarah-Jane not only is clearly very skilful and knowledgeable, but was excellent at explaining how and why massage works, and was very attentive in consistently checking that I was okay with the pressure she was applying. I thoroughly recommend and look forward to my next visit!

Incredible. Booked the spa as a package deal on Buyagift. I received possibly the best massage from Sarah - Jane iv ever had. Very professional with perfect pressure working the areas needing it most.

Adding, I had a facial again by Sarah - Jane. Treatments were amazing and left me floating. Unfortunately we are visiting from Newcastle but would 100% come back when we are in London again.

Amazing treatment!
I went there last Sunday for 90 minutes full body massage and head, neck and shoulders treatment plus manicure. Sarah was the girl who did the treatment for me. She was amazing! I left the spa completely relaxed. She was super professional respecting my privacy, super polite and also very good in performing the massage. She has soft and experience hands! I strongly recommend her as therapist.
Also positive experience with the rest of the staff like Jane very polite too! Nice welcome at the spa.
I was disappointed about the spa. Too small. Pictures show big space where you can have privacy. Unfortunately that day was quite busy and I had the feeling that people are packed inside the swimming pool with 0 privacy.

went to the spa today - was dubious as some reviews are bad....but i was very very happy with the whole experience. my friend and i went and we wished we had had longer ! the hydrotherapy pool is fantastic and you can spend as long as you want in either of the 4 saunas - rock crystal aroma and salt ! they are amazing and well cared for. the Staff were fantastic... they changing rooms were okay but there were free hair dryers which is a real bonus !!! I would definitely go again, absolutely!

An amazing experience. Had a joint massage with me sister today. Katiya was very welcoming and helpful at reception The spa facilities were great with the choice of 4 different steam rooms with a very powerful hydro pool

Sarah- Jane who did my treatment was amazing she was polite, welcoming and very professional in her approach to my treatment. I felt very comfortable in her presence and was totally relaxed, she also provided me with great advice regarding skin care which I greatly appreciated

Sarah-Jane was able to give me greater range of movement in my frozen shoulder and I left felling amazing, she has amazing hands only wish I could take her home.

Definite 5 stars will definitely be returning.

Another day another Spa treatment, this is within a leisure centre, lovely staff greeted me and led me to the treatment room, my 1 hour Swedish massage was done by Katya who is brilliant, I was so relaxed I fell asleep, my body is now revitalised, I was time limited so missed out on the sauna and steam and the hydro pool, next time, big thanks to Katya
