Buff Urban Day Spa

Incredible day here, I booked a spa day for me and my sister after being gifted a voucher which had a deep massage, lunch, hot tub and pedicure on it. On arrival we chose our lunch, we were then taken to a room to change into robes and shown a lounge area while we waited. The changing room was laid out with everything needed even right down to the bags to put your swimming costumes in after the hot tub, it also had showers. We were called from the lounge area to have our massages, we were greeted by Helen and Linda, both were really nice. Helen was very thorough with my massage and advised me on parts that needed attention, it was amazing. My sister said Linda gave a beautiful, relaxing massage. We were then taken to a room to have our lunch which was fabulous then after showers (to clean off massage oil) we went into the hot tub, it was incredibly relaxing and we didn't want to get out. Our pedicures were our final treatment, we chose our colours for our nails to be painted and lots of care went into them being massaged. Overall the hospitality was fantastic, we were always well catered for, it truly was a luxury experience

I was a little disappointed by the buff day spa experience. I had booked a day spa package. But when you think of a spa you expect a sauna or steam room at least. Unfortunately they had neither. They had a great floatation tank but when we both used it the music cut out after 5 minutes (when we were told it would cut out after an hour to let you know the session ended). As a result we both didn't have watches so we had to pre-empt when our session was over which mean we were short of 20 minutes.

There was a nice jacuzzi on the terrace which we enjoyed but other than that, there wasn't much else to pass the time except sitting down on a chair. But the lunch menu was pretty basic in terms of choice: sandwiches or salad. The presentation of these sandwiches were also minimal (sandwich and crisps on a plate) but tasty all the same. The orange juice was nice but the sparkling water which came in a Pellegrino bottle was a bit flat. On closer inspection of the bottle there wasn't a seal which would suggest the bottle had been filled by a fizzy water dispenser rather than the real deal. The T&C was disappointing, the coffee came in instant satchets and the hot water from a large thermal flask.

We finished the day with a 90 minute treatment which made this package worth the money otherwise I'd have wanted my money back. When we left we found out they've increased the package from £140-165 which isn't worth it. The lady who dealt with us at reception was also a bit abrupt and non attentive at times for instance when she didn't listen about the music stopping in the floatation device.

As the title suggests, the day was enjoyable but lacked the details & due attention that one would normally associate a spa to have give it that feeling of grandeur.

Had a really great gel manicure with Claire, highly recommend.

I enjoyed a CACI treatment with Clare. Clare was very attentive, she understood the treatment and was very informative.

Went to Buff today for a massage . Clare was fantastic and would definiely book again. Found it to be a very calming atmosphere and very professional well done to all of you Great work .

Just had a great experience with Buff Urban Day Spa! Zeke, really listened to what I wanted to achieve with my hair, also giving his advise and ideas. After this, I felt confident in what was happening and the direction we were going. I wasn’t disappointed, I’m enjoying fantastic results. I’ve come out with exactly what we discussed and feel excited to wear my new hair colour. I’ll definitely be returning again and again. Thank you Zeke and the team at Buff!

Had a perfect pedicure done by a lovely member of staff. Felt well looked after for this ralaxing time.
Did appreciate all the safety measures put in place.
