Zip World Penrhyn Quarry

Very good experience. My husband and son enjoyed they ride on zip line. Me and my daughter waited in cafe. It has good choice of food and drinks and is very spacious. They are screens here where you can watch people getting ready for their ride. Only think was table weren't clean.

A fantastic experience! Even for observers and non participants there is plenty to do. The whole Velocity 2 experience takes about 90 minutes to 2 hours from start to finish, and you are well looked after by very confident and competent people. For those not participating, the viewing platform on the top floor gives you stunning views of the quarry and a great opportunity for photos of your loved ones and friends as they speed by overhead. The video footage option on offer is a great gimmick, and is emailed across almost immediately as a very smartly put together video available to view and download.

Absolutely incredible experience! Titan 2 is without doubt the best zip line in the world. The views as you fly through the air are second to none and the staff are so helpful, supportive and professional. The harnesses are cross checked, the fixtures to the line are cross checked, you just feel super safe. I loved it so so much!

I bought the experience for my husband as a present.There is no upper age limit as long as the participant has no health issues.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything was well organised and safety is obviously a priority.

There are several places where you can view the zip lines including in the restaurant/ cafe.

The food and drinks were reasonably priced, tasty and good value for money.

Everyone who undertook the experience appeared to enjoy, all coming back with huge smiles.

Really great adventure day out! We did the velocity zip line which lives up to its name as the fastest zip line in the world! Friendly staff and good communication that always made you feel safe. There is a cafe/restaurant that overlooks the zip line which is a great place for photos but is on the pricey side! Mobile ordering food and drink is also available which is very convenient!

I wasn’t happy that it was going to take 2 hrs. But it made sense when we got there. They say to be half an hour before you book. We booked earlier in the morning as it was cheaper. You get fitted with the equipment and do a practice one. Then take a truck up the quarry to the big one. It was well worth the experience and price.

For next time I would have booked it as early as possible then you’ve got the rest of the day free. They said online you have to wear long sleeves and trousers but on the day (in August) no one said anything and loads of people were in t-shirts n shorts. There was one customer who had sandals but they got him to charge his shoes.

All the staff were very professional and friendly. At every step they explain you what’s going to happen next.

it was just a shame the mist came down and blocked our view of the quarry. The truck ride up to the main zip wire is very bumpy.
Personally i don't like big scarey rides, but this was cool, wish it lasted a bit longer. Neither of us were buzzing like we thought we would be though 😟. It is expensive, and feels like it's all over too quick, it's about an hour from start to finish. If you opt to video yourself, the cameras are heavy, they push the helmet onto your goggles, that is uncomfortable on your nose. Video should take 24 hours, but 4 days later i am still waiting for mine. All in all, it is good fun. 😉
Unfortunately my video footage was not recovered, which was very disappointing. Communication with the zip world team has been brilliant, and they have gone out of their way to do all they could for me.

Amazing place the first run as meh, but the big run was amazing. My husband loved both. I am a bit more of a thrill seeker. The drive up the mountain was not fun diesel air is so not my jive. Fun over all and worth it as a once in a lifetime as quite expensive.
