Heathrow POD Parking Terminal 5

We love the convenience of POD parking at T5!

Note that there seems to be a weight limit in the PODs so they won't move if you are over the limit but POD doesn't tell you that. We worked out by trial and error that 4 of us was fine but 5 tipped over the limit. Not a problem, we just split our party and took adjacent PODs arriving within 60s of each other.

One of the best things about heathrow are the Pods! They are fun and it gives you amazing views of the airport as you come in and out of the airport, I'd definitely say it's worth parking there as there are plenty of spaces and the Pod is super quick! It felt like a sneak peak into the future and a smaller version of the DLR. I'd 00% try it out if you get the chance!

I have used Pod parking a few times. It is convenient (especially coming back) slightly quicker than the shuttle service. That said, twice now I’ve used it and the pods were broken and replaced with a shuttle service!! When that happens is no where near as quick. I would only use for business purposes, I don’t think it’s worth the extra expense if you are not in a rush.

Well what can I say…I’m sure if this works smoothly it’s great. However for us unfortunately this was not the case. On arrival into the Uk POD parking was not working, we waited for 25 minutes for a bus to take us back to POD parking. If we had wanted this service we would have paid far less for our parking. All the convenience was erased and left all who were waiting with us extremely frustrated. We called Heathrow parking to complain and we were met with an incredibly rude response of ,delays happen and read the terms and conditions’. They were so unhelpful and off hand. We will never use POD parking again.
Great business model to sell a much better convenient product, I.e POD for more money..not deliver the service paid for, rather give an inferior cheaper option and not even consider refunding the difference. Of course this is all covered by their small

Brilliant parking plenty of space and pods come very frequently saves the hassle of waiting on the bus too collect you from the car park. Will only be using this parking for future trips

Always try to fly from T5 as it's the best option in my opinion?... The experience is supplemented by being able to book pod parking as well.
Just rock up, get let in, park & walk to the pod. Before you know it, your at T5 entrance. Most stress free way to park at any airport.

A really easy way no fuss way to park close to the airport. No waiting either end, simple to use and helps cut down on bus trips. Would use again.

Waste of money as Pods were out of order and has to use a bus transfer. No communication to say otherwise until you get right to the Pod station. My mother in law is disabled and this proved very difficult. We paid extra for this service to receive inadequate service. It would have been more comfortable to book the long stay parking and much cheaper.
