TGI Fridays - Crawley

We dined here last night for a Bday celebration and it was totally shambolic to say the least.
The plates came out dirty time after time and how is this fair to boost post covid confidence, as its totally unhygienic.
Our starters were good, however the main course was soggy, cold and seemed not fresh.
On letting the manager know she was not keen to listen to feedback and replied its a personal opinion.
Unclean plates, soggy burger and cold food is not personal opinion!!!
No cake or bday celebration done in-spite of being booked for bday while online booking had stated that.
I urge you to train your staff to take criticism not personally but positively as we are regular customers and would not visit hereafter.

I booked a Table here for a proposal to my partner and i must say what a wonderful amazing job Laura and her team did they really went above and beyond to make the ocassion special . All the staff were polite and friendly always smiling and the food was amazing . I will definately be visiting here again

The food was good but pricey. Portion sizes good. Staff were friendly but service very slow for 4.30 on a Wednesday in a nearly empty restaurant!

I ordered chicken quesadilla, Mac and cheese bites and sesame chicken strips and I’m absolutely disappointed of everything. All the food was microwaved , in my boyfriend plate was very old and dry salad , I waited for 50min for attention from the staff service. The plates were too hot to touch them. I understand they are busy as we came at time with two birthdays parties but the quality of the food is unexpectedly bad. My fish chicken quesadilla was 95% onion and the rest with a little bit of chicken :/// Unfortunately I’ve sent it back all my food . I won’t come back or recommend to a friend. I’m not Gourmet cook but it’s not complicated to know and understand the good food.

The menu is expanded back to normal and the food is still great, but service was very poor until the manager stepped in and took over.

Food was late and wrong with bits missing, things we ordered weren't delivered to the table and we had to ask several times for missing items (like cutlery).

I've revised my review to 3 stars, as the food really was very nice. Service needs to improve markedly though.

Visited for my son's birthday this week, we had a lovely evening, food was good and staff were helpful and friendly. My only criticism of the evening is my son was disappointed with his ultimate birthday sundae, having shared one with his cousin 4 weeks previously, he thought he knew what he would receive, he wasn't so much disappointed with the choice of flavour (which had also changed from chocolateto strawberry) but was looking forward to the sparkler in the cake but all he got was a tiny candle (even though the sparkler was advertised) I did say I was nit picking but think we could have been asked if we minded that they had no sparklers.

Always love a good tgi's because its great food. But tonight the service was so slow took 20 minutes for drinks orders and ordered food at same time. Wait about 35 minutes for food so not too bad but when it did arrive the salad that we got given with the chicken was all brown hard and wilted. Overall tonight wasnt great as another customer even complained about something. Not a great place to go if you are on a time frame.

The food was absolutely amazing! Staff were excellent! Especially when my daughter didn't like the strawberry milkshake they happily swapped it for apple juice. The new garlic fries are incredible. Literally like garlic Kiev sauce on fries! A must try!!
