A couple of things that would improve this restaurant;

1. The food was served warm, needed to be hotter.

2. Staff seemed to be friendly but when we asked for our drinks for the second time one of the staff simply said “we are busy but they will come” but the restaurant was 40% full - so not busy!

Overall good restaurant and good value.

If You are looking a place with great food, nice atmosphere and what will be family friendly,this is your place. First great thing, staff members, really friendly, advice You what to take, if You don't know what You fancy and service - 6+ starts. Second, food is amazing, steak perfectly grilled, ribs smooth and You can feel taste Louisiana basically. For kids we have taken nuggets with chips, soo good chips, plus with kid's meal free dessert - amazing. Size of the meals - massive 😱. Prices, so big board with grilled 6oz steak, chicken, ribs, corn and coleslaw - £24.99, fajita (also massive!!) £19.49, kid's meal £9.99. Great job Guys👌👏we are coming back for sure!!

Really excellent restaurant experience all round. Food is delicious, large portions in a true American style. As they say if you haven't had the Nachos, you haven't been to Smith & Western

Have been to a couple other Smith & Westerns but our first time going to this one, it did not disappoint!
Food was amazing as always, service was great and friendly. Can't beat the atmosphere and theming here!

Smith & Western always seem to have good food and good portions. Staff always seem happy and happy to help. The chicken wings and prawn starters were great. As normal the main of ribs was lovely. All with a. Voice of BBQ, Southern Comfort or TNT dips. Was a bonus that it was warm and we could have the dogs outside with us shame you can’t have them inside.

I love the place. Also the vast park to explore, and even have a picnic with friends and family. The scenery is fantastic and the lake. What a lovely place. The food was great. We couldn't finish our plate. I will go back again.

Lovely atmosphere, proper American! Food was lovely, but expensive. I had the ribs and wings combo and they were full of flavour however the chips and onion rings were quite dry and didn’t have any flavour at all. Had to drown my chips in salt and dip the onion rings in a load of sauce just to give them an ounce of flavour :( on the whole, it was nice food none the less.

it was our first visit to S&W at Tilgate and we are really enjoyed! Nice atmosphere and food but want to say a big thanks to member of staff - Hanna you are amazing, your smile so precious and it’s nice feeling like you met your friend. Thank you, it was really nice evening❤️
