This folks is where barrow has its CLOTHES BANK, and also runs DROP IN SESSIONS where people can simply go and have a brew, or toast, a meal or basically just meet new people who go there for similar reasons to yourself, be it, you're alone, have issues, are struggling or just like to get out in general and meet new faces.
Whatever you're reason, this place provides an excellent service at NO COST AT ALL.
The drop in center is located downstairs, and the clothes bank upstairs.
The clothes bank is similar to food bank but without the voucher, and you can go there and select clothes BUT I think there may be a maximum number you can have so people don't go there and clear the place out. But again the number is more than ample.
They have rails full of mens womens and children's clothes and also have local school uniforms that people have kindly donated, and being a charity they rely on this, so it's also a great place to take any items too good to throw away too after that wardrobe clear out.
The staff are friendly helpful and non judgemental.
This is the only place now I take things I don't want need or the kids outgrow as I feel other charity shops that profit from my things arnt there for the real people who need them. This is a TOTALLY FREE SERVICE.

The pastor and the people of St Mark's Churh in Barrow were warm and welcoming. I was made to feel at home here right away. The sermon was so apt for these times ad the pastor's message was heartfelt.
