A wonderful Church with so much History. This is a amazing Church and grounds. I loved every minute of being inside. So much to see here from the wonderful story telling windows to all the paintings on the walls and side of the windows. The walls are even breathtaking in here. The floor looks splendid and pretty too and i was just amazed how how peaceful and relaxing it was in here. The grounds outside are in perfect condition with no litter or mess anywhere to be seen, Also some lovely big tress giving the grounds and Church some nice shade. I really loved being here, a amazing place .

A charming light interior in this old little church when so many have dark interiors. There are historic plaques and artwork visible, and the construction of the church itself is in its oldest parts something like 10th or 11th Century which makes it a significant Anglo-Saxon building that has survived the centuries, and using Roman material from Verulamium in its construction. Don't miss this little gem on your visit to St Albans if you are interested in history or Christianity.

Excellent wedding celebration in the presence of our Lord Jesus. What a wonderful choir to help the service resonate with worship. Thank you for making us all so welcome. May the Lord bless you and strengthen you in all you do for Him.

Gloriously quiet. A wonderful, reflective church allowing one to develop an inner sense of peace and tranquility.

Very quiet and private. My children loved the I Spy game provided to find things around the church. I particularly enjoyed the old painting and the sign showing how the building had changed over the centuries from the 900s to present day.

An Anglo-Saxon church founded in the 10th century with later additions but without any major 19th century alterations. Day of Judgment on panel from the 15th century. Large, mature yews in the churchyard signify the continuity of worship through the ages.
