A Commissioner's church consecrated in 1829 in the then fashionable Greek Classical Revival style and subsequently much restored. The murals completed in 1932 are attributed to Miss Hardmann and Cohen, "friends who had studied together at the Royal Academy." A small garden area on the southwestern flank the remains of the church land acquired for the construction of the Great Western road in 1957 which abuts this attractive building stealing much of its thunder and metre. Certainly worth seeking out if adrift in the environs. An active community here.

Very peaceful- the service was excellent. We were filling the guidelines 2 m. apart from each other, masks on.

Friendly congregation, especially the people who waved at me continuously after service... Maybe it was because I actually said "peace be with you" instead of nodding... (Yes I missed that note in the order of service) And said "Thank you" receiving the sacrament... I mean manners right? Props to the organist and the choir for forgetting the second hymn also... This is why I go to church.
