Beautiful church well worth seeing

Lovely old school church

Visited llandovery for the weekend and whilst wandering around the town we came across this beautiful church. Lovely gated entrance and the seating area at the church doors was so peaceful. Some very dated, beautiful headstones to see.

I started here as curate last year and am now the Priest in Charge. The congregation have been lovely and welcoming in spite of Covid restrictions when we arrived. I really enjoy ministry here at Llandingat and am getting to know everyone better. The building is large and medieval with lots of wonderful history, including a former vicar Prichard (Rhys Prichard, aka "y hen ficer") who made a significant impact on Welsh history and Christianity in Wales.

Beautiful old church and yard in the peaceful Welsh countryside. Resting place of many members of my family but lots of weathered headstones to contend with.
