The late Victorian church is a large cruciform structure of Yorkshire stone, built in the English Decorated style. Originally meant to support a spire, the tower was altered in 1905.
Inside, the elaborately carved sedilia, piscina, font and Last Supper reredos were produced by Boulton and Sons of Cheltenham. The arches between nave and aisles feature characteristic stripes of alternating stone.
The church is set up for regular services and serves a fairly large congregation.
I wish to thank all the organizers for all their hard work to make this candlelit service beautiful in every way.
It was attended by over 200 people. It brought the community together after 3 long years of restrictions by covid.
The organists are brilliant. They pulled all the stops out to make the sound harmonious.
Everyone who participated in the service including the tea, coffee, and mince pies given to thank you
Much appreciated by all who attended.
