Barlows Electrical

I collected a Panasonic DVD recorder from Barlows in Whitchurch, from a small repair), when it was working. Then when I got home, I couldn't get it to work! Called Barlows - Richard, from the Service Department called me back, and he was very helpful. We spoke, two or three times, and it seemed that I had initially put the Scart plug in the wrong socket on the DVD recorder (AV1, not AV2!), and then, when I had found the right socket, had not pushed it in hard enough! Eventually it worked - saving me a call-out charge! But he was SO pleasant & helpful - I can see it from his point of view - what an incompetent idiot we have here, but he never gave me that impression! Service, with Capital S!! LOVE BARLOWS!!

Purchase of TV stand.

Competitive prices. Helpful and professional staff in store. Delivery and installation staff equally professional and helpful. Washing machine hose wasn't long enough, but they found another and fitted it at no extra charge. Can't fault them and will be going back to buy more appliances.

We wanted a new tumble dryer ASAP today and they were unable to fit delivery in until the following week but said they would see what they could do. 20 minutes later there was a knock on the door and a lovely young man who worked in the shop had put it on the trolley and wheeled it to us 👏👏 THANK YOU for going above and beyond 😀
