I’m updating this review (previously 2 stars). It’s been brought to my attention that it may be churlish or unfair to give Blades a low rating because they sold us a lemon of an Aga. In reality the people at Blades have been reasonable and helpful and my real gripe is more with Aga.

If your heart is absolutely set on owning an Aga, Blades are definitely good people to go with. My advice however is please, please save yourself the heart ache and agro and don’t get an Aga.

Blades is a fantastic company. The staff are always friendly and incredibly helpful, even providing diagnosis and maintenance advice over the phone. On both occasions I have booked them, their engineer David arrived on time and was thorough and respectful of my home. I will certainly be using them again in future. They come with my highest recommendation. Thank you.

We purchased an aga from here and have had excellent service. Very flexible on fitting times and they came out without question when we thought we had a problem. Extremely pleased we used them.

We didn't go ahead in the end due to reasons outside our control, but could not have had a better experience with the guys at Blades - incredibly helpful and great service offered despite the challenges of the pandemic. Highly recommend a visit.
