My washing machine broke down and as I have a young baby who goes through baby grows like there is no tomorrow, I needed one the same day. I went into the AL Young store, got great advice from the team. I found a great deal and had it delivered and installed the same day.

Very helpful. It was good to discuss my electrical needs with someone who knows what they are talking about rather than the work experience lad that you'll invariably find dispensing wisdom in other celestial based electrical retailers.

Delivery and installation is where these chaps really excel however. It's a proper service, no more waiting in all day for something to turn up only for it to be unceremoniously deposited on your doorstep at 6pm with the truck disappearing into the distance even before you can get the packaging off.

Excellent service from a local store. My fridge freezer died and within 2 hours I had a new one bought and delivered on a weekend! The big high street and online stores promise same day delivery, but actually don't so this store really saved the day. Friendly and helpful.

Brilliant service as always. Have used A L Young many times over the years and they have always been great. Today my old Mum's fridge freezer packed up when she had just taken a delivery of frozen food. I telephoned and spoke to Jackie who said a delivery would be possible and she gave details of suitable Fridge Freezers. We then popped to the shop and with the help of a chap who's name I cannot recall, but has been there many years, bought a Bloomberg fridge freezer and arranged for delivery with collection of the old unit.
Just to show how they went the extra mile for a 91 year old, we visited the shop early afternoon and then approx 15.15 two very smartly dressed, friendly chaps delivered the fridge freezer and took the old one away. Such a great shop run by lovely friendly people.
