Slightly Potty

Overpriced for what it was, no refreshments offered although it had been advertised as serving them on Facebook the shop was empty apart from ourselves so not too busy to offer. We was only told after painting we would be waiting over 2 weeks for the finished items as they were waiting on more glaze & would be notified by text, this never came I had to eventually call them. One item had been damaged whilst being glazed, again they said I would have to wait yet another week & make another trip to collect it again with the promise of being notified. No text again but did get giggled at when I phoned over a week later "oh we was just wondering if you was going to call back" hilarious not! On collection of remaining pot the door was locked when they had advertised as open so I knocked on door, answered by owner asking why I had such a non impressed look on my face & then had a conversation with other staff about it being one of those days, I just remained polite but again it came across as just mocking me. The pot was badly repaired the lid wobbles & doesn't sit on the base, they did offer a redo pot but no thank you we will just leave it where we are I'm not from Ilkeston & have already made multiple trips. Everything I have put is truthful I only hope they read & improve the experience for others.

Excellent little hidden gem. We need more places like this in town for kids.

Slightly potty is my daughters favourite place we are regular visitors, the shop is always clean and tidy and the staff are always lovely and friendly. My daughter had her 4th birthday party at slightly potty, the staff catered with lovely food, adapting to dietary needs with no fuss. They entertained the the children with party games after they had finished painting their pots. I have also attend slightly pottys ladies night which they tend to host once a month, a lovely atmosphere to relax without children. Would highly recommend! Can't wait for our next visit!

Brilliant place to visit. My daughter had her 8th birthday party there and we was well looked after.

Plenty of different items to paint and in different sizes amd abilities.

Will be visiting again soon for more painting fun.
