It made me really happy to find Bengali vegetables, snacks and spices here.

The one shop in Oxford where you can find a wide range of tropical food stuff. If you happen to be in or around oxford and you’re looking to buy food stuff to prepare your African or Asian menus, Tahmid is the place to be. They have almost everything! At good prices too! Absolutely recommend!

Tahmid Stores has a good collection of Indian and south-east Asian stuffs. I buy all the Indian grocery items from Tahmid. Whether it is different types of pulses (dal), grains, spices, snacks or spices - MDH, Shaan or any raw individual items, you can get them all. They also sell Indian vegetables but they are quite expensive.

My number one go to butchers along with Noor Halal. They have everything you need from a halal grocers. a huge variety of products to chose from, a wide variety of fish, chicken and meat produce, all priced very well compared to the places. very neat and organised and helpful staff. The only think it lacks is enough parking but its not really their fault due to the location.

This store is amazing. You can literally find everything you need in an Asian home. Once entered it feels as if you are back home and shopping. Reasonable prices and good customer service

Lovely store in Cowley selling products and spices targeted at the Indian and Asian market. Extremely wide variety of exotic spices and marinades.
Clean halaal butchery as well which is relatively priced.

They do sell fruit (good variety and quality) but their grocery selection is very limited (yoghurts, drinks, frozen foods, tea/coffee, biscuits, crisps etc).

If you are price conscious then double check prices as the chainstore supermarkets sell many items cheaper and Tahmid is cheaper on certain items.
