Good experience from registration, bidding online, receiving invoice and collecting. Super helpful staff both on the phone and in person at the auction house. Bravo!

Wonderful Auction house, definitely worth going to.

Nice people, but their estimates, as included in the catalogues, are a joke. We drove 2 hours and liked three paintings:
a) estimate £400-600 - sold for £3600.
b) estimate £300-500 - sold for £750.
c) estimate 150-250 - sold for £1500.
At a guess 80-90% of the items appeared to be going well over the estimates, frequently at multiples thereof. As I have to assume that Cheffins know their stuff it's hard not to conclude that the estimates are therefore deliberately understated to attract bidders.
